ANKARA - Estonian Prime Minister Andrus Ansip said that Turkey is a democratic country, adding that there is no reason for not finding a democratic solution for any problem in Turkey.
Holding a joint press conference with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday, Ansip said that they want to see Turkey within the EU.
Ansip said that they acclaim Turkey`s economic successes, noting that growth rates of Turkey and Estonia are very close to each other.
Noting that Estonia developed especially in informatics technology sector, Ansip said that Turkey is improving in this sector too. Ansip said that his accompanying delegation is comprising entrepreneurs from computer technology sector, expressing hope that entrepreneurs of both Turkey and Estonia will make important cooperations.
Ansip said that Turkey and Estonia are good allies within NATO, adding that both countries support each other at international level.
Commenting on closure case against Justice & Development (AK) Party, Ansip said that Turkey is a democratic country, and all political problems should be solved in parliament, not in courts. He added that there is no reason for not finding a democratic solution for any problem in Turkey.
