Polish Company Eager To Buy Malatya Railway Car Repair Factory

MALATYA - Executives of Polish Ostrow Wielkopolski company are expected to pay a visit to eastern province of Malatya to carry out feasibility works in railway car repair factory this month.
Mehmet Kavuk, Mayor of Yesilyurt, told A.A correspondent that construction of the factory was completed in 1989, however the factory has not worked since then.
Kavuk said that he proposed European Turkish Businessmen`s Council Chairman Aziz Sahin to manufacture railway cars at the factory.
Kavuk said Executive Board President Florian Rozynski and an accompanying delegation visited the factory last January.
"We expect them to carry out feasibility studies this month," he added.
