Narcotics Teams Confiscate 32.5 Kg Heroin

ISTANBUL - Police narcotics teams confiscated Wednesday 32.5 kg heroin and 70 kg amphetamine substance in two separate operations held in Istanbul and Kocaeli provinces.
The heroin was seized after narcotics teams launched an operation against a passenger bus destined to an undisclosed foreign country.
The 32,5 kg heroin was hidden in a cache on the bus.
The teams later launched an operation in Kocaeli province against a mobilehome carrying a Polish license plate.
The 70 kg amphetamine substance was confiscated in the mobilehome.
15 people were detained in connection with the operations.
