TUNCELI - Turkish bomb experts defused ten remote-controlled bombs in eastern Tunceli province after a tip by Ali Cabuk, a bomber of the terrorist organization PKK/KONGRA-GEL, sources said on Wednesday.
They told A.A correspondent that Cabuk was arrested in Aegean Izmir province a while ago and brought to Tunceli, where several bomb attacks had been staged, for testimony. The same sources quoted Cabuk as saying that he had been a bomber of the terrorist organization for 14 years.
Turkish police seized and defused ten remote-controlled bombs in several places in Tunceli and its Pulumur town as Cabuk reenacted, the sources said.
Cabuk, with a code name ''Nurhak'', was a member of the terrorist organization since he was 22. He confessed that he trained about 100 terrorists for bomb making and killed around 50-60 people in the terrorist attacks, he was involved.
Three soldiers died while three others were injured in the bomb attacks in which Cabuk was involved in Tunceli's Pulumur and Ovacik town, a month ago.
