Dietsch And Sundstedt Win First Leg Of Mountain Bike Marathon

MANAVGAT - Thomas Dietsch of France and Pia Sundstedt of Finland won Sunday the first leg of the Mountain Bike Marathon World Cup in men`s and women`s categories respectively.
The first leg race took place in Manavgat town of Mediterranean province of Antalya. 258 bikers joined the race.
Dietsch completed the 90-km race course in 03:38:54 and he was followed by Alban Lakata of Australia, and Karl Platt of Germany came the third.
On the other hand, Pia Sunstedt finished the 75-km race in 03:28:16, while Italian biker Annabella Stropparo came the second and Swiss Esther Suss was ranked the third.
