Police Seize 35 Kg Of Heroin In Hakkari

HAKKARI/NIGDE - Turkish anti-drug teams confiscated 35 kg of heroin in southeastern province of Hakkari and 13 kg of hashish in central province of Nigde.
Acting on a tip-off, police searched a house in Hakkari's Yuksekova town and found 35 kg of heroin by the help of sniffer dogs. One person was arrested in the operation.
Meanwhile in Nigde, gendarmerie squads searched a passenger bus on its way from southern province of Hatay to Istanbul. Gendarmerie found 13 kg of hashish stashed in a luggage and detained the owner of the luggage.
