Closure Case Will Not Have Negative Effect On Economy, Ekren

HATAY - Turkish State Minister & Deputy PM Nazim Ekren said Saturday the closure case against the Justice & Development (AK) Party will not have a negative effect on Turkey`s economy.
"All our institutions should behave carefully to bring Turkey to the place it deserves in regard to democratization and freedoms," he told reporters in southern province of Hatay.
Ekren is actually in Hatay to participate in the groundbreaking ceremony for an iron-steel facility MMK Group -- one of biggest iron-steel companies in Russia -- and Turkey`s Atakas Holding will establish in Hatay`s Dortyol town.
"The goal of AK Party is to meet the needs and demands of the nation, and most importantly to make Turkey an esteemed and credible leader country in the international arena," he also said.
