Turkish Police Arrest Five People In Istanbul In Preparation For Bomb Attack

ISTANBUL - Turkish police arrested Saturday five members of the terrorist organization PKK/Kongra-Gel in Turkish metropolis of Istanbul who were preparing for a bomb attack on a public institution.
According to a statement by the Anti-Terror Department, police detained five members of the terrorist organization PKK/Kongra-Gel in their operations in Istanbul`s Bahcelievler, Zeytinburnu and Uskudar districts.
The detainees had staged seven bomb attacks against workplaces and vehicles in order to deteriorate the public order.
Police seized a bomb mechanism, equipment used to make bombs, and organizational documents during their operations.
