MERSIN - Turkey`s opposition Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) said Saturday the closure case filed against the ruling Justice & Development (AK) Party was an unpleasant development for Turkish democracy.
"As the MHP, we feel sorrow over such a case in this age," said Mehmet Sandir, deputy chairman of MHP group at parliament.
"Turkey is a state of law. Everyone should respect the rule of law. No matter what happens, everybody should comply with the law and our republic," he told the AA.
