Ministers On Closure Case Against Ak Party

ISTANBUL - Turkish State Minister Kursad Tuzmen said Saturday democracy is a tough marathon, adding, "democracies below 10,000 USD of national income per capita suffer such pains."
"We will not suffer it when we achieve 15,000 USD of national income per capita," Tuzmen told reporters in Istanbul where he attends the 2nd General Assembly of Turkish Industrialists` & Businessmen`s Confederation (TUSKON), when asked about the closure case against the ruling Justice & Development (AK) Party.
Another minister Veysel Eroglu, Environment and Forestry Minister, said "sovereignty unconditionally belongs to the nation."
"So the nation is the solution to everything," Eroglu responded to reporters.
On the other hand, Public Works and Housing Minister Faruk Ozak said, "we should consider what people say."
