KOCAELI/GIRESUN/BURSA - Turkish security teams seized 35 kg of heroin and 13 kg of hashish in operations waged in western provinces of Kocaeli and Bursa and Black Sea province of Giresun.
Anti-narcotics teams seized 20 kg heroin in Kocaeli, and two people were detained in connection with the incident.
Security teams confiscated 15 kg heroin in Giresun and three people were arrested in the counter-narcotics operation.
On the other hand, anti-narcotics team seized 13 kg hashish hidden in a television that was sent from southeastern province of Diyarbakir.
Eight people were detained in connection with the haul.
