I Am Confident Izmir Will Host Expo 2015, Gonsalves

IZMIR - Ralph Gonsalves, Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and Grenadines, said Friday he is happy to be in the city which would host EXPO 2015.
Gonsalves and an accompanying delegation arrived in western province of Izmir on Friday.
Mayor of Izmir Aziz Kocaoglu hosted a breakfast for Gonsalves and his delegation in which a presentation was made on Izmir`s candidacy to host the EXPO 2015.
Speaking at the breakfast, Gonsalves noted that "I am confident Izmir would host the EXPO 2015. Izmir has an history of over 8,500 years. On the contrary, my country is a young civilization."
"We plan to work with Izmir in the future in the areas of tourism and agriculture," Gonsalves also said.
