A Film On Santa Claus Shot In Demre

ANTALYA - A team from the Netherlands began shooting a film about Santa Claus in Demre town of southern province of Antalya.
The film is based on Dutch writer Ruiters`s book, "Sint", which is about the life of Santa Claus.
Dutch producer and cameraman Richard Melsert and scriptwriter Erick van Dongen arrived in Demre. The Dutch team started to shoot the film in Demre, Patara (in Kas town of Antalya) and Myra Ancient City.
Dongen told A.A correspondent that the film would contribute to the promotion of the region in the Netherlands.
Some believe that Santa Claus was born in Kas and lived in Demre.
