THE HAGUE - Turkish Transportation Minister Binali Yildirim and his Dutch counterpart Camiel Eurlings signed a cooperation agreement on transportation in the Hague, the Netherlands on Thursday.
Yildirim, who is on a three-day official visit to the Netherlands, held talks with Dutch Transportation Minister Eurlings.
After the talks between the ministers and high-level officials of the two countries, an agreement envisaging cooperation in transportation was signed.
Yildirim held a press conference at the Turkish embassy after the meeting.
He said positive developments would take place in terms of liberalization in transportation sector and civil aviation thanks to the signing of the cooperation agreement.
Yildirim also said Turkey planned to carry out several investment projects with build-operate-transfer model, adding that Dutch investors were interested in transportation projects.
Yildirim, who will meet Eurlings at dinner on Thursday, will proceed to Rotterdam and Zeeland region on Friday.
He is expected to return to Turkey on Saturday.

Making a short statement after his meeting with Yildirim, Eurlings said Turkey and the Netherlands had good economic relations.
Eurlings also said that Turkey was an important country for the Dutch transportation sector.
