Turkish Defense Minister Meets Montenegrin Counterpart

ANKARA - Montenegrin Defense Minister Boro Vucinic paid a visit to his Turkish counterpart Vecdi Gonul on Thursday.
Before the meeting Gonul said that Turkey was willing to develop relations with Montenegro in every area, including cooperation under NATO banner.
"I hope Montenegro will soon become a part of Euro-Atlantic cooperation, a part of NATO," Gonul told reporters.
On his part, Vucinic said his country aims at joining the Alliance in the shortest time possible, adding that Montenegro would also follow "the European Union path."
