ANKARA - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Thursday several initiatives were under way to boost development in Southeastern Anatolia and State Minister & Deputy PM Nazim Ekren has been on a tour to the regional provinces to hold talks.
Erdogan and Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves of Saint Vincent and Grenadines answered questions of reporters at a joint press conference following their tete-a-tete meeting.
There would be important investments in the Southeast Anatolia Region, he told reporters.
"Copenhagen political criteria also put forth some innovations. We will implement them. One of them is that a channel of (state-run) TRT will start to broadcast in Kurdish, Persian and Arabic," he stated.
