ANKARA - Competition Board approved with some conditions sale of Vatan newspaper to Dogan Group, a press release posted on the board's web-site indicated on Thursday.
The board allowed the sale on the condition that Dogan Group will hand over the newspaper within two years to other persons out of the group.
If trademark and franchising rights cannot be sold through a tender which will be held after two years; and within three years following the tender, Dogan Group will be able to keep all managerial rights over the trademark.
