Turkey Will Start Promotion After E.U. Sets A Date For Turkey To Start Full Membership Negotiations

ANKARA - ''Time will come for us to start promotion activities after European Union (EU) sets a date for Turkey to start full membership negotiations,'' Turkish State Minister Ali Babacan said on Tuesday.
Babacan, who attended Direct Foreign Investments Board meeting, pointed out that it seemed as if there was difficulties in bureaucracy but that this was not correct.
Replying to questions of foreigners about the foreign investments law, Babacan said legal reform was important but it is not easy to do that in a short time period. He added this would take at least 3 to 5 years to complete.
