ISTANBUL - Turkish State Minister Mehmet Simsek said Thursday Turkey`s economy is not fragile since the government put everything in the country in order.
"The two-month primary surplus is around 9.5 billion new Turkish liras (YTL)," he told the 3rd Annual Turkey Structured Capital Markets Summit organized by Euromoney in Turkish commercial hub of Istanbul.
"Actually, we are ahead of the path we have foreseen," Simsek also said.
Simsek said public finance is in a good condition, and the government still maintains its commitment regarding the primary surplus.
