BURSA - 72.3 percent of the Automotive sector, which became the locomotive of Turkish economy, were made to 24 European Union (EU) member countries in the first half of this year, it was announced.
No exports has been made to Greek Cypriot side.
The share of the EU countries in Turkish exports reached to 74.3 percent when Romania and Bulgaria, two candidate countries were included.
Uludag Exporters Union (UIB) said Turkish automotive sector exported to 155 countries and 13 free zones in January-June period.
Total automotive exports is 4,800,964 thousand U.S. dollars.
Exports to Germany, France, Italy and Britain amounted to 2,416,269 thousand U.S. dollars.
