Turkish Parliament Begins Debate On Bill Allowing Overseas Citizens To Cast Vote In Elections

ANKARA - Turkish lawmakers began debating a new bill allowing Turkish citizens living in foreign countries to cast their votes in elections or referendums online, by letter or in countries they are residing.
Under current arrangement, Turkish people in overseas countries have been able to cast votes only at customs gates.
