Turkish movie "Beyaz Melek" (White Angel), --directed by Mahsun Kirmizigul-- which was nominated in "best photography" and "best supporting actress" categories in Film Writers Association (SIYAD) Awards and was completely ignored in the Istanbul Film Festival, is invited to compete in the U.S.
Kirmizigul`s movie which did not draw too much attention from film critics tough it has attracted more than 2 million people to theaters, will compete in the 41st Hudson Film Festival to take place between April 11-20.
Beyaz Melek will compete for the "Golden Remi Award" and will be screened on April 16th and 17th. The winners will be announced at the award ceremony to be held on April 19th.
Kirmizigul who will go to Texas on April 13th is very excited.
"America is showing the respect `Beyaz Melek` deserves. This invitation honoured me and the film crew," said Kirmizigul.
