Turkish Foreign Minister Congratulates Greece On Winning Euro 2004

ANKARA - Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul congratulated on Monday Greece on winning Euro 2004.
Gul spoke to Greek Foreign Minister Petros Molyviatis by phone and congratulated Greek national team on winning Euro 2004 held in Portugal.
Molyviatis said that Greek national team's success would have a positive effect on olympic games.
Gul also spoke to main opposition PASOK party leader George Papandreou and congratulated Greek national team's victory at the Euro 2004.
Greece defeated Portugal with a 1-0 victory over host Portugal in the Euro 2004 on Sunday.
