Free Internet For 550 Schools

IZMIR - Free internet will be provided to 550 schools in Aegean Izmir province within the scope of a protocol signed between Turkish Transportation and National Education Ministries.
Turk Telekom Izmir Provincial Director Mustafa Unal told A.A correspondent that all the schools in Turkey will be connected to the internet before the end of 2005.
Unal said students at schools which did not have libraries would be able to benefit from internet, stating that this service will be free of charge.
