ANKARA (CIHAN) - The Turkish Treasury will hold two bond and one treasury bill auction this week.
According to a statement issued by the Turkish Treasury, it is to hold one bond auction on Monday for the sale of Turkish Lira bonds to be redeemed on June 14, 2006.
The Turkish Treasury also will hold one bond and one treasury bill auction on Tuesday. The bond auction will be held for the sale of bonds with a 518-day maturity duration that can be redeemed on December 7, 2005. The treasury bill auction will be held for the sale of a 217-day maturity note that can be redeemed on February 9, 2005.
The Turkish Treasury will also repay 7.253 quadrillion Turkish liras (TL) of domestic debt this week. A total of 6.531 quadrillion TL in repayment will be made to the market and 722 trillion TL will be made to public institutions.
This week, the Turkish Treasury will also repay 582.4 million dollars of foreign debt. The Treasury will repay one million USD on Monday, five million USD on Tuesday, one million USD on Wednesday, 517.5 million USD on Thursday, and 57.8 million USD dollars on Friday.
