Number Of Tourists Visiting Turkey Rose By 43.46 Percent In First Half Of 2004

ANKARA - A total of 1,872,770 tourists flew in Turkey in June 2004.
The number of tourists visiting Turkey rose by 43.46 percent in the first half of this year, compared with the same period last year, Culture and Tourism Ministry said on Monday.
Releasing a statement, the ministry noted that 355,688 German tourists, 236,595 Russian tourists, 192,001 British tourists arrived in Turkey to spend their holiday in June.
The number of tourists visiting Turkey between January and June 2004 increased by 43.46 to reach 6,701,825.
