ANKARA (CIHAN) - Turkish Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gül told reporters on Sunday evening they took up bilateral relations between Lebanon and Turkey, and regional developments during his official visit to Lebanon.
The Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gül returned Turkish capital on Sunday completing his official visit to Lebanon.
Stating that Lebanon is close to Turkey in geographical, historical and humane perspectives, Gül said that he undertook very positive visit. Gül revealed that he met with the Lebanon President Emile Lahout, the Prime Minister Refik Hariri and Foreign Minister Jean Obeid in fruitful talks.
Turkish Prime Minister said that they discussed the regional developments and bilateral relations. Gül added that two countries have come very close to signing free trade agreement.
