Issue Of Lokmaci Gate To Be Decided In Meeting Of Two Leaders, Ercakica

LEFKOSA - Hasan Ercakica, spokesman for the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Presidency, said Wednesday the issue of Lokmaci gate and the possibility of opening it would be decided in a meeting between President Mehmet Ali Talat and Greek Cypriot leader Demetris Christofias scheduled to take place on March 21st.
In a written press statement, Ercakica indicated that today`s meeting between Talat`s Special Representative for EU and UN talks Ozdil Nami and Greek Cypriot administration commissioner George Iacovou took place in a positive atmosphere and was fruitful. Nami and Iacovou decided on the date of a meeting between Talat and Christofias, Ercakica underlined.
"Discussions on opening of the Lokmaci gate took place during Nami`s talks with Iacovou on Wednesday," Ercakica also said.
