59th Balkans Athletics Championships Start In Istanbul

ISTANBUL - The 59th Balkans Men's and Women's Athletics Championships started in Istanbul.
A total of 270 athletes from Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Moldova, Serbia-Montenegro, Albania, Macedonia and Bosnia-Herzegovina participated in the championships.
On the first day of the championships, Esref Apak of Turkey became champion in the hammer throw.
