ANKARA - Social Security Institution Deputy Chairman Tuncay Teksoz informed on Friday reporters about reforms to be realized in social security area.
Teksoz said that it was planned that social security institutions would be gathered under the ceiling of a new institution to be formed under the name of ''Social Protection Foundation'', adding that the new body would start to serve three years after the law on reform in social security was enacted.
Teksoz noted that it is planned that in year 2040, women would retire at the age of 61, while men would retire at the age of 63.
The Retirees Pension Fund, Social Security Agency (SSK) and Social Security Agency for Artisans and Self-Employed (Bag-Kur) would be gathered under the ''Social Protection Foundation'', he added.
