ANKARA - Iraqi President Jalal Talabani said on Saturday they were eager to establish strategic relations with Turkey in every area and invited Turkish companies to invest in Iraq.
Talabani, who is visiting Turkish capital of Ankara, received members of Turkish-Iraqi Business COuncil of Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DEIK).
Iraqi President Talabani thanked all Turkish authorities and Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) for their assistance in Iraq`s fight against terrorism and said Iraq was eager to establish strategic relations with Turkey in the areas such as oil, economy, trade, culture and politics.
His visit aims to boost bilateral relations between the two countries, Talabani said.
Iraq is ready to provide facilities to Turkish companies in the country, he stated.
