Vorkink: Turkey Has A Healthy Growth

ANKARA - Turkey has a healthy growth, said World Bank Director for Turkey Country Unit Andrew N. Vorkink on Thursday while evaluating Turkey's 12.4 percent growth in the first quarter of this year.
Replying to questions of reporters, Vorkink said 12.4 percent growth was a result of the stability in economy, and urged banking sector to be more active.
Asked if growth would pose a threat for consumption, Vorkink said this was a healthy growth, stating not only consumption but also production increased.
