Goal Of US Is To Carry Negotiations With PKK To Turkey's Agenda, Baykal

ANKARA - Deniz Baykal, chairman of the opposition Republican People`s Party (CHP), said Friday that the goal of the United States is to carry the issue of negotiations with terrorist PKK organization to Turkey`s agenda.
Speaking live on CNN Turk tv channel, Baykal told that "certain U.S. generals talk about the need to hold talks with PKK." The real issue is to make Turkey sit down at the negotiating table with PKK, Baykal noted.
"Some say that remarks made by U.S. generals on Turkey and PKK do not reflect the official position of the United States", Baykal underlined.
"Can this be true? Such remarks of U.S. generals are part of a larger scenario aiming the whole region," Baykal also said.
