BATUMI - A group of Turkish businessmen erected a hotel in Georgia`s Batumi city.
The hotel, with a capacity of 70 beds, was inaugurated on Friday.
Georgian officials say that Turkish investments in the Batumi region are increasing rapidly.
"We are pleased with the commercial and economic relations between Georgia and our neighbor Turkey," told one Georgian official.
Speaking to AA, chairman of the Turkish Businessmen`s Association in Batumi Mustafa Katiboglu indicated that Turkish entrepreneurs are active in Batumi in sectors such as construction and household appliances.
Meanwhile, Turkish Acar Energy group will construct seven hydroelectric power plants in the Batumi region.
