BRUSSELS - Turkish FM Ali Babacan said Friday Turkey is eager to become one of the world`s ten biggest economies by the year 2023, which marks the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the modern Republic of Turkey.
Meeting Turkey`s consul generals in western European countries in Brussels on Friday, Babacan told that the Turkish MFA is being re-designed to help reach Turkey`s goal of becoming a significant economic power by the year 2023.
"We must get together in a meeting at least once every year. There are issues related to all of us. We must discuss solutions to Turkey`s needs and problems," Babacan indicated.
