ANKARA - Orhan Birdal, chairman of the Turkish General Directorate of State Airports Authority (DHMI), said Friday Instrument Landing System (ILS) will be activated at Diyarbakir Airport (in southeastern Turkey) as of March 10th, 2008.
Birdal said that installation and technical controls of ILS had been completed, and the system was ready to function at the airport.
