Number Of Tourists Visiting Antalya Increased 52 Percent This Year

ANTALYA - A total of 2,311,062 tourists flew in the southern Antalya province of Turkey in the first half of 2004.
The number of tourists visiting Antalya increased 26 percent monthly and 52 percent annually, officials said.
According to figures released by Antalya Culture and Tourism Office, more than 22 thousand foreign tourists arrived in Antalya by air yesterday. The number of tourists who visited the city, a holiday resort, between June 1 and 30 was 709,490,
A total of 1,521,548 tourists have visited Antalya in the first half of last year. The number was 1,834,339 in the same period of 2002.
