Solution In Cyprus Will Be In The Benefit Of Everybody, Moller

UNITED NATIONS - Michael Moller, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon`s special representative to Cyprus, said on Thursday that status quo in Cyprus was unacceptable, indicating that solution of the problem would be in the benefit of all Cypriots and the region.
According to a statement released by United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP), Moller attended a conference organized by International Peace Research Institute (PRIO), based in Oslo and delivered a speech.
Moller, in his speech, underscored that everybody wanted Cyprus problem to be solved, and noted that a study carried out by PRIO revealed the positive consequences of an agreement that would be reached on the island.
Moller said any fair solution on the island would mean more security, stability and rise in trade for the Cypriots, noting that he believed a solution would turn Cyprus into an island that may be an example to the world and where people may live in peace.
On the other hand, Moller remarked that the solution was also very important for economic means.
