Parliament Speaker Arinc Due To Netherlands

ANKARA - Turkish Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc will go to the Netherlands on Thursday to attend European Union (EU) Parliament Speakers Conference.
Arinc will be the guest of Yvonne Timmerman-Buck, the Chairman of Dutch Senate, and Dutch House of Representatives Speaker Frans W. Weisglas.
Timmerman-Buck and Dutch Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende will address the opening of the EU Parliament Speakers Conference on July 2.
Developments regarding cooperation among EU parliaments, European and global issues, as well as new problems which the parliaments will face after the enlargement of the EU are expected to be discussed at the conference.
Arinc and other parliament speakers will convey their views on those issues.
Arinc and an accompanying delegation are to return to Turkey on July 4.
