ANKARA - Turkish Central Bank said Thursday its foreign exchange reserves rose to 74.9 billion USD on February 29th.
The reserves were 71.1 billion USD on February 22nd.
In its weekly bulletin, the Central Bank indicated its total gross reserves (foreign currency plus gold) rose to 118.8 billion USD on February 22nd. Of that, 44.5 billion USD was from privately owned companies, including commercial banks while the Central Bank held the rest.
