Exhibition On "They Trusted Turkey" Kicks Off In Estonia

TALLINN - A photograph exhibition on "They Trusted Turkey" has opened in Estonian capital of Tallinn.
The photograph exhibition is about certain people who took shelter in Turkish territories after they had to leave their own countries.
Turkey`s Ambassador to Estonia Sule Soysal and Estonian FM Urmas Paet inaugurated the exhibition at the National Library of Estonia. It will stay open till March 19th.
"Throughout history, Turkish territories had been a shelter and a second home for many people, political leaders, kings and artists who had to leave their homes and countries and sought shelter for several purposes," Soysal told during the inauguration.
Soysal said this exhibition indicates that Turkey has embraced millions of people from Asia, Europe, Middle East and North Africa.
"We deem the message of the exhibition in harmony with the `European Year of Intercultural Dialogue` declared by the EU," she told.
On the other hand, Estonian FM Paet said the exhibition proves Turkish nation`s hospitality.
