Turkish Finance Minister Leaves For U.K.

ISTANBUL - Turkish Finance Minister Kemal Unakitan departed for British capital London on Thursday to participate at a series of meetings which would be held by Citigroup with representatives of British investors in Turkish stocks markets. Unakitan will brief investors about Turkey's economy and its privatization policies.
Unakitan will also be presented with "The Finance Minister of the Year" award by The Banker magazine.
The Turkish minister will return to Turkey on March 9.
