ISTANBUL - Doctors at the ''International Hospital'' in Istanbul, where the two cleaners injured at the explosion on a Turkish Airlines (THY) plane were taken, said that the cleaners were not in a critical condition.
Kismet Kuzucu, the chief doctor of the hospital, said that one of the cleaners named Ozgur Iskender lost his left hand fingers while the other cleaner Cevat Aydemir suffered from burns.
Kuzucu said that Iskender lost his left hand fingers and suffered serious fractures in his left and right hand.
Aydemir was injured in his eyes, and suffered burns in his face and body.
The cleaners found a package similar to a wallet and opened it when preparing the plane for the next flight.
The package which includes the C-4 plastic explosive went off. Ozgur Iskender and Cevat Aydemir were injured in the blast.
