Chilean Ambassador Marambio Visits Istanbul Mayor

ISTANBUL - Chilean Ambassador in Ankara Francisco Marambio met Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Kadir Topbas on Wednesday.
Topbas told reporters that Marambio paid a courtesy visit to him, and they discussed Turkish-Chilean relations.
"We also took up free trade talks which will start on March 28th between Turkey and Chile. Mr. Marambio considers Istanbul as a very important tourism destination," Topbas added.
We want to develop bilateral relations between the two country, Topbas noted.
On the other hand, Marambio said that Chile was the first Latin American country which recognized Republic of Turkey.
