Pope To Meet Muslim Clergymen And Intellectuals In November

THE VATICAN - Pope Benedict XVI will meet Muslim clergymen and intellectuals in November.
A total of 138 Muslim clergymen and intellectuals from various countries wrote an open letter to the pope on October 13th, 2007 and called for dialogue among religions for the sake of world peace.
Religious authorities met in Rome on Tuesday and Wednesday, and agreed to organize a Catholic-Muslim forum in the Vatican on November 4-5.
Muslim delegation will meet the pontiff on the sidelines of the meeting.
