ANKARA (CIHAN) - The price of gasoline, both for home use and for automobiles will increase as of Tuesday due to the increase in the Special Consumption Tax (OTV) imposed on fuel oil.
According to a statement issued by the Fuel Oil Distributors' Association (ADER), the price of gasoline will increase between 4.62 percent and 5.31 percent as of Tuesday.
The price of one liter of unleaded gasoline will increase to 1.982 million Turkish Liras in the European side of Istanbul.
The price gas for home use and liquid petroleum gas (LPG) rose between 4.2 percent and 4.8 percent as of Tuesday after the increase at the gasoline prices.
The price of one liter of LPG will increase to 1.43 million TL in the European side of Istanbul and 1.42 million in Ankara.
The price of gas for home use will increase between 4.18 percent and 4.65 percent.
The price of 12 kilograms of fuel for home use will increase from 22.5 million Turkish Liras to 23.5 million TL, while the price of 2 kg of fuel will increase to 4.160 million TL in Istanbul and Ankara.
The last increase occurred on May 18.
