ISTANBUL (CIHAN) - Kyrgyzstan's President Askar Akaev met with Turkish President, Ahmet Necdet Sezer and Prime Minister Erdogan on Tuesday. Akaev came to Turkey to attend the NATO Summit in Istanbul.
According to a statement issued by the Office of the President of Kyrgyzstan Republic, topics discussed included political, economic and educational relations between the two countries.
Akayev said, "The NATO Summit is a succes for Turkey. Organizing the NATO Summit in Istanbul and gathering the leaders of so many countries at once in Turkey is very impressive."
President Sezer also invited Akaev to the meeting of 'Countries with a Turkish language' in November in Antalya.
