ANKARA - Humanitarian aid sent by Turkey arrived on Wednesday in Gaza in a bid to extend relief to Palestinians who have been suffering under an Israeli embargo since groups close to Hamas took control of the city a year ago, Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a written statement.
"The first party of the humanitarian aid, including four trucks of medicine, food stuff and clothing, arrived in Gaza Strip on Wednesday," the statement said, adding that the second party would be dispatched soon.
