Renowned German Cellist, Romanian Soprano To Teach At Turkey Music Academy

AYVALIK - Famous German cellist Maria Kliegel and acclaimed Romanian soprano Leontina Vaduva are scheduled to do masterclasses in July and September at an international music academy in the western town of Ayvalik.
Ayvalik International Music Academy was founded in 1997 and aims at introducing world's major classical music figures with Turkish students.
Kliegel, a pupil of cellist Janos Starker, started her international career in 1981 when she received the "Grand Prix" of the Concours Rostropovich in Paris.
