ANKARA - A senior figure from Turkey's ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party strongly renounced Wednesday a newspaper report which he said implied that the government had been in contact with the terrorist organization PKK.
"It is a delusion and hallucination to claim that our government or the AK Party had engaged in dialogue with the terrorist organization while we utterly reject to talk to any foreign or domestic actor who refuses to acknowledge PKK as a terrorist organization," AK Party Deputy Chairman Egemen Bagis said.
Bagis also said the government was fully committed to fight against terrorism in political, military, social and economic fields.
